A headshot has to sell you. The goal is to get you called in and a headshot only has seconds to catch the attention of an agent, casting director or producer. Remember this is your most important promotional tool and it’s their first impression of you. It thrills me each time an actor informs me that they got work in films, television and/or commercials with the photos we took.
As a photographer and makeup artist, I accomplish a pleasing relationship between lighting and proper make-up that will make you look your best while shooting. During the make-up process we will get to know each other better, making us feel more comfortable during the photo session.
Shooting with the best in digital photography is a great advantage that allows me to make adjustments during the session. It also allows photo labs to give you your prints sooner than with film. Shooting digitally expedites the proofing process with the use of your private online gallery.
After making your final selection and retouching them, the images are put on a CD that can be taken directly to a duplication house without the need of having the originals scanned and then adjusted. Therefore, the quality of the photos will appear as I intended them to be.
Every artist has their process in order to accomplish their work and part of my process is that I am truly passionate about meeting and photographing different individuals. It is my hope that through my dedication and enthusiasm you will have a great time and attain wonderful photographs. I'm excited by challenges and my goal is to make you look your absolute best. I work with your essence, which is something no one else has but you.
Please bring your current headshots to the photo shoot. It is always beneficial to discuss them before the session.
Allow yourself to have fun on your shoot. If you do, it will show up in your pictures.
